Mandy Brown, soprano

Mandy Brown and pianist, Tatiana Loisha, will be presenting this unique recital program with the In The Stacks concert series at the George Peabody Music Library. Ms. Brown and longtime colleague pianist, Patrick O'Donnell will be performing the US premiere of this set of songs by composer, Fiona Linnane, about the famous Irish playwright, Kate O'Brien. The 2024 year marks the 50th anniversary of O'Brien's passing. Each piece from the set is for a different character from a Kate O'Brien play or novel. Ms. Brown will be rejoining Inscape Chamber Orchestra and conductor Richard Scherbo, to perform Golijov's Tenebrae. Performance on November 9th will be at Silver Spring United Methodist Church in Silver Spring, MD. Performance on November 10th will be at the Linehan Concert Hall in Baltimore, MD.
